SEVA FIRST 2026 National Launch Event at Delhi Technological University
Join us on 19 September 2026 for the grand inaugural ceremony and National Innovation Festival at DTU. The launch brings together leadership from ministries, academia, and industry to unveil the national innovation portal, release the flagship problem statements, and kick off the nationwide innovation journey toward Viksit Bharat.
The Innovation Journey
Following the national launch, participants embark on a rigorous, milestone-driven pathway. Moving from initial problem identification through regional mentoring, prototyping, and rigorous field testing, the challenge culminates in proven, deployable solutions ready for national impact.

Launch of problem statements and areas of challenge for local level innovations for registration; awareness campaign; idea submission; local problem identification; online orientation sessions.
Preliminary scrutiny; eligibility check; technical and innovation assessment; shortlisting of promising ideas; announcement of selected teams.
Online mentoring; expert consultations; design development; engineering analysis; workshops/boot camps; access to laboratories/fabrication facilities; prototype development; interim design review and technical evaluation.
Prototype testing; performance measurement; safety/reliability assessment; field trials; demonstrations in actual/relevant environments; user feedback; refinement of prototypes against defined challenge parameters.
Final report submissions, prototype demonstrations, National Jury evaluation, and finalist selection.
National Innovation Exhibition, Grand Finale, and official declaration and distribution of awards & prizes.
